Pros

Not too many hours during busy season. Everyone is friendly.

Cons

Zero technical training for CPE. They tell us to go to Becker online classes to learn complex topics. All we get is training for LinkedIn and other social media. Lots of politics and favoritism among small cliques.

It's still public accounting

Pros

They're ahead of the game when it comes to technology and software especially with IT security. Definitely forward thinkers with an emphasis in learning and growth.

Cons

The hour requirements during tax season are ridiculous. No true process as each BoB has different preferences when it comes to work papers. Hard to get help from anyone so you're left to figure it out as with any public accounting firm. The only learning you do is being told something is wrong rather than taking the time to show you how.
