Research opportunities, paid experience for students. Students are able to get involved in many different things on campus because it is so small.

Cons

Walla Walla doesn't have as many outside internship opportunities as a larger city does.

My boss and coworkers were the best people I ever got to spend time with. They are the most hard working and caring people. Eddie and Carla are the BEST.

Pros

Great students, generous sabbatical package, lots of helpful coworkers (speaking from the division of sciences). Local wine community is charming.

Cons

Location is far from the nearest big city (4 hours to Seattle). Some standard school politics, but in my experience it was always at a very low simmer (I've seen explosions at other schools).
