Pros

Some really great people to work with. Customers are great.

Cons

Unclear strategy poorly executed. Poor leadership that doesn’t understand the importance of building relationships with customers, employees and suppliers. Losing market share multiple years running. Cutting employee's year after year leading to extremely poor morale and a group of employees going through the motions. There is no “ownership” among the employees.

None anymore - sadly. 5 years ago would have many.

Cons

Poor leadership / poor management / bad decision making on management team leading to selling off of profitable Nutrition division. Nutrition drove off all talent - talentless decisionmakers led to poor performance, over-inventory, poor sales. Had a lot of talent - let them all go.

The work life balance in the role I was in was great. Some remote work is available. My direct manager took interest in me as a person, and I worked with a lot of great individuals.

Cons

If you are not a white man, you will not be seen as an asset or promotable, this company is very much a boys club. Driving change is difficult as senior leadership does not lead well.
