Pros

For the most part, the employees are intelligent, hardworking, committed, and collegial.

Cons

The restructure has resulted in many layoffs and extremely low morale. The company's corporate culture has dramatically changed (for the worse).

Pros

Great colleagues, good benefits, salaries average but not great, even for the industry. Very family friendly and flexible.

Cons

Management is working hard to become a publisher of the future, but can't seem to shed some old school mentalities and mindset. Too conservative to be aggressive and progressive in digital publishing. Transition has been poorly communicated and employees running on fumes trying to make up for the cuts. Unfortunately the whole industry is going through this so Wiley is not alone.
