      Comfortable work environment Many smart, talented employees Great work/life balance Proactive approach to market and industry changes

      High-performers are sometimes overlooked Communication through different levels of the company needs to be improved Dramatic scope and fast pace of ongoing changes at the company have lowered morale throughout the organization Collegial, family-feel of the culture seems to have disappeared

      Pros

      The "Wiley Nice". Make sure to ask about this if you are interviewing. Has been traditionally a very supportive environment for employees.

      Cons

      The bad side of the "Wiley Nice" is that productive, constructive feedback may not be "nice enough". Change is very slow here and striving for excellence isn't necessarily what is expected of its employees.

      Pros

      People at Wiley actually respect each other and cooperate to serve the customer and the company, makes it slower sometimes to get a new thing started, but also makes it much easier to get a new thing done. Riverside location is very pleasant, too

      Cons

      It's a very competitive market, and while Wiley is well positioned they could sometimes be quicker to see and react
