Not the most exciting place, but nice security

Pros

Most of the people are very pleasant to work with. The hours and benefits are good and most managers are willing to work with you if you need to work from home occasionally.

Cons

As in most publishing industry positions, the pay is not great. The subject matter of the content can seem less then thrilling considering it's all non-fiction and with a heavy focus on education.

Pros

Fair, intelligent management. Good time off/vacation/benefits. Casual dress (jeans allowed at my location). Friendly executive management. All around good people and company.

Cons

Location (my location not in a desirable part of the country). Salary is ok, but higher salaries elsewhere. Would like the option of using vacation days as personal or sick days.
