Pros
Okay benefits and hours are good.
Cons
So many things. This department in particular is very unorganized. They changed a lot of the leadership and it just made a downhill from there. The new supervisor in particular for the Baltimore location is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever worked with. There are no boundaries between work and personal life. I could tell you everything from her children’s lives, her ex husbands life with his new wife, her dating life, her spiritual life…… She talks bad about the team and other leadership and forgets that everyone was there before her and shares the information with each other, keeping the work environment very hostile. She breaches OSHA everyday. She discusses the personal medical information of employees from personal conversations with coworkers, and has been reported to the EEOC and more. She would get upset if you ask for help from senior coworkers instead of coming to her even though she wouldn’t know the answer because the department requires so much training she couldn’t possibly know more than someone who say started even a month before. It’s clear controlling the team is her goal as she even hired her friend. She aims to be controlling which is why she so intimidated by those who have worked there years before her. She would rather her team struggle and fail than to have everyone work together if it means she doesn’t look good. The department was so much better run when everything was about succeeding. When we did things like blitz calls on certain days to boost numbers and met with our supervisor to work on our top accounts. It worked more because the previously supervisor knew the job and what he didn’t know he would guide you to whether it be something to look up or a person to ask instead of just giving an opinion regardless of the fact that it’s a feeling and not the truth. Businesses can’t run on opinions. Beyond her is the disorganization of the position itself. One day it’s one rule the next day it’s different. The leadership is not on the same page you’ll get in trouble with one when the other told you that’s how to do it. The metrics didn’t make much sense.
