      Local office has a great manager, does not micro manage, allows us to budget time needed to accomplish work )within reason)

      Cons

      Corporate headquarters pokes their nose in and has a lot of rules and regulations we must abide by. Not all branches or divisions are profitable.

      Pros

      I had a phone conversation with the CEO of the firm. I got to look into the mind of the CEO. At least I should be thankful for that opportunity. I learned how a firm wastes human potential!

      Cons

      CEO admitted to posting phony ads for the positions because he wants to keep his firm's name in the public eye. I applied for the Senior Building Plans Examiner position and was only given 16 hours of work for the whole year at a much lower position. When he was asked about advancement opportunities, he stated there were none. The CEO did not understand why hiring people with almost no work to do was unethical. This sounds like a very unethical company to me. Run away from this firm because there are no benefits to working at Willdan!
