Pros

Lean company with meaningful work and decent support. Great culture and flexible opportunities to try different departments.

Cons

Managers need more direct training in learning to trust their employees and to empower their employees. Employees need more technical training and structured programs for learning fundamentals of natural gas and pipeline. Additionally, wfh and hybrid work needs to be reconsidered for improved work life balance.

Good Pay and Hybrid Schedule.

Cons

Worked at Williams for several years and was consistently disappointed by the management culture. Leadership often showed extreme favoritism, promoting individuals based on popularity rather than performance or merit. Constructive feedback was ignored, and management seemed completely detached from the realities of day-to-day operations. Decisions were frequently made without regard to logic, experience, or basic communication, leading to frustration across teams. While some talented individuals were present, the overall environment made it impossible to succeed unless you played office politics which was rampant. Would not recommend for those seeking fair opportunities or professional growth.
