Pros

401 k AND Health insurance benefits, the work environment is friendly and low key. The benefits kick in from day one and the staff is very friendly. Training is offered and education is reimbursed, new jobs develop daily and are posted for internal job postings. Education and advancement are encouraged. Williams donates money to nonprofits and cares about its employees health and wellness. Williams does things by the book and they are fair and honest in business dealings. They are on the list for Forbes top 100 places to work or in the running for 2008/2009. It takes some time to get a job however it is worth the wait.

Pros

Work-life balance. Almost impossible to get fired. No pressure to actually do anything.

Cons

HR input into non-HR areas is out-of-control (career path, job requirements, salary) Internally terrified to anything "social media" oriented. Too much focus on activity and not results. Would rather reach consensus than implement anything meaningful. Leadership is non-existent; no strategic plan, no focus on results or goals.
