I've work at wingate for 17 yrs .Great work environment,CNA care for thier residents very well. Management is very flexible. All around great place to work

Pros

Plenty of interaction with patients and family and opportunities to have a positive impact on care given on a daily basis.

Cons

Lack of support and leadership from the top on down, staff ratio poor making it difficult to give great care when overwhelmed. Very toxic work environment. Leadership lack vision and focus and are unaware or indifferent that the facility is imploding and the patients are the losers in this equation. Morale could not get any lower, staff leaving the situation for all of those reasons and more.

Healthcare industry is good. That's all.

Cons

Horrible management: always last minute changes and priorities, no proper training, no clear communication. Absolutely zero respect for your personal time - there is no life/work balance. Expect 50-60 hours a week at minimum. Don't care if you'll burnout.
