Pros

Managers get a free meal

Cons

Lowest paid GM despite turning the store around and making it better all the way around, I was promised my pay would be fixed but never was. Locations were sold out to a corporate company and since then nothing promised by them ever happens. Pay raises never happen, employee growth is non existent with this company, the DM they have in charge of my store and a few others had no idea what they are doing and cannot function in a high volume store like the ones they are suppose to be in charge of. The DM has caused good employees to quit due to cutting hours to extreme and has hired bad employees to take the place of those who left. GM’s have quit due to the DM not doing their job and making the GMs do the DMs job bc the DM is in bed until around noon but claims they are at other stores. You have no home work life balance, you will always have to go into work when you are suppose to be off or have meetings on your days off and can’t go to church if you are religious bc they force you to be there Sundays. Upper management is horrible. They will pay an assistant way more than the GM. The DM is toxic and talks badly about GMs to other GMs and employees. They will make you drive close to two hrs away for product and not reimburse you for gas, no reimbursement for anything you have to get for the stores. They will continuously call and text you until you do what they want even on your day off so they don’t have to do anything. If you don’t answer you are threatened with or given a write up and a meeting. On snow days where it ices over they expect you to be there on demand to open and close even if you cannot leave your driveway or your car will slide all over the road instead of actually valuing their employees, instead of going in themselves. On those snow days stores will be extremely short staffed and slammed with orders that can’t be kept up on that not even customers come pick up themselves so it wastes food. Yet they will make the call from the comfort of their own homes. For a corporation that “values” its employees and claims its like “family” it’s the most toxic uncaring greedy family you can be a part of.

Pros

Good Compensation and the Company has a wonderful Culture. Working for Corporate Wingstop is the best way to work in food. They are adamant that you do not work if you are on PTO; They have great sick leave policies and there is plenty of time off from year one (Management level or higher) Even regular Team Members get a decent amount of PTO per year. Only have to wait 6 months for benefits (team members, it's immediate for management level or higher)

Cons

(Reaching for this one but) Company is always changing and experimenting; you adapt or get left whether they make good or bad decisions. Other than that, it is an amazing company to work for. If you don't mind adapting constantly, you'll do amazing!
