Pros

This company is a great Team Environment. Where hard work is rewarded. The upper management in the schenectady office is the best you can ask for.

Cons

It is a startup so everything is constantly changing. If you are unable to change with it this job is not for you.

Pros

You really do work with the best people in the business here. Everyone is a pro. There's very little hand holding and you need to get a running start when you hit the ground. There's never a boring moment either. Since we're so focused on interfacing with hardware, there's always new toys.

Cons

Since we move so quickly, we can sometimes sacrifice quality in favor of speed to market. This is changing as the company grows and there's been a much larger focus on quality. Work life balance varies. It can get kind of hectic sometimes.

Pros

Everyone operates on a level playing field with reasonable work delegation. Very smart, highly skilled people without the ego, communication and transparency are virtues here. The work is fast paced, very innovative, stimulating, and exciting. Work / life balance is great, no burn out / workaholic culture here.

Cons

Maybe a few growing pains of being a new company, but nothing to complain about...
