The customers were normally friendly and polite.

None of the required training is what you’re actually supposed to do on the floor, which is super confusing to new people who are training. More experienced workers take the commission from the new people who don’t understand the system. You’re encouraged in the training to be open and honest with the customer, but when you do that, you get into trouble for not making the company more money. The sick pay mentioned in the job listings is fake, they demand you come in puking, with the flu, and with a fever of 102. You’re expected to memorize the pricing of everything without being given anything to actually memorize.
