      Questionable leadership practices and lots of clique

      Pros

      - Work load is manageable and engaging. However, the learning curve is steep - Free meals once a week - You get autonomy to experiment however you'd like, as long as you deliver

      Cons

      - Leader and management don't provide good directions - During one interview process, a senior team member reportedly took the candidate’s feedback personally. He then blocked the candidate on his social channels, appropriated some of the candidate’s ideas, and ultimately chose to hire another applicant, showing a lack of professionalism and ethics - Lots of people who aren't doing much but don't take responsibility or accountability of their work. But the leaders and management are at fault for allowing this to run - Lots of clique groups with big egos

      A Truly Purposeful and Supportive Workplace

      Pros

      Wise offers an incredibly supportive and positive work environment. From day one, I felt welcomed and valued. The company culture is outstanding, inclusive, transparent, and empowering. The team encourages collaboration, open communication, and genuinely cares about both employee and customer experience. The flexibility is amazing, including thoughtful benefits and even the ability to bring pets to the office, which makes the environment even more enjoyable. Every process and initiative is clearly aligned with Wise’s mission, which gives real purpose to our daily work.

      Cons

      Honestly, I have not encountered any significant drawbacks. Coming from a very rigid and inflexible environment, I find Wise to be exceptional in almost every aspect.
