Pros

In Transferwise you feel that you are making the difference, your opinions are listened to and you have quite a lot of freedom on what you work on (the freedom can be even a bit scary at the start especially when coming from a more top-down business). The company and product are evolving very fast, in 6 months a lot has changed. Being part of a product that is used around the world and that solves a real problem feels great :) Plus the people and culture is awesome

Cons

There can be some confusion and chaos but you will get used to it. The perks compared to other tech companies are subpar: smaller salaries, no bonuses, less free food, no electric desks etc.

Pros

Good vibes within the company. People are generally kind and everyone wants to protect this culture It is possible to work remotely The continuous growth of the company means opportunities are always available to try a different role within the company All ideas are welcome, and yours could be the one executed irrespective of your position

Cons

Lack of structure within some teams that have not evolved No defined career path, you can get stuck in a position if you are not self motivated
