Pros

Great place for driven individuals, autonomy to set both goals and task. Fast paced growth pushes you to improve constantly. Option package and nice offices. Data analysts work with product teams which increases impact and influence of the role.

Cons

Requires extra effort for the first months to learn and adapt to new terminology and way of working. Relocation is offered depending the role but guidance and support when moving could be better. Average salary.

Pros

You will go far at TransferWise if you are willing to live at the edge of your comfort zone, constantly pushing at the boundaries of what you feel, think and dream you are capable of. If you like being involved directly in planning your own work and taking on responsibilities you will fit right in. If this is you, you will find plenty of opportunities to develop your career, learn new skills, and be involved in exciting and worthwhile projects. As a plus: competitive salary, friendly colleagues who become good friends, great work environment, plenty of opportunities to socialise and attend events, free food and coffee.

Cons

We are a constantly evolving organisation and where there are opportunities for growth and development, there is also the possibility of miscommunication, and tasks or parts of projects falling between the gaps, leading to frustration and stress. With a growing customer base, global expansion and evolving product, you always feel like there are never enough hands to get on top of all the work that needs to be done, so the potential for (temporary or permanent) burn-out is high. You often feel like you are one step behind the work. TransferWise is still finding its feet in many areas, such as smooth and effective collaboration between teams, clear ownership of topics, and documentation of processes, actions and decisions, meaning that it can be often hard to understand historically what was done by whom and when, and why certain actions were taken and certain decisions made.
