      Great early years, but now facing burnout and mismanagement

      Pros

      I worked at Wise for almost 5 years. For the first few years it was an amazing place to work, really really amazing. Then the company started promoting people internally to management who were not the right people, and even after feeding this back, many of us were ignored. The workload increased with very little support, backfills not filled, a single person supporting a platform that multiple teams relied on for deployed and still not support for management or even want to learn what was going on. The overall tech and the people truly were just some of the smartest people I worked with, but so many are so burnt out and now needing therapy after working at Wise. Such a shame
