Pros

Good people and a growing firm in an industry that is declining

Cons

Hours can be long depending on lead analyst and pay is meaningfully lower for juniors than competitors across the street

Pros

Office politics are minimal and quality + hard work is valued most. Associates gain responsibility quickly if one shows they can handle the work. The associate culture between teams is phenomenal. A lot of friendly people who hang out with each other after work. Wolfe pays for Series Exam books and dinners during late night grinds. Experience is analyst dependent, which was a pro for me but could also be a con (team dependent).

Cons

No formal training period and pay is below Street average.

Pros

I read a recent review that portrayed Wolfe unfavorably, and while I appreciate that each person's work experience is unique, the review is nonsense and wholly inaccurate. Simply put, Wolfe hires smart, motivated people with different backgrounds and experiences to bring their best to the firm. I have been with Wolfe since May in a senior attorney role and I am absolutely comfortable being a diverse employee who brings "my total self" to the role every day. D&I is taken seriously and we are learning by trying and by doing - that comes straight from the top. Both management and my colleagues appreciate what I do, why I do it and want me to be empowered and impactful. It is clear that the firm's goal of retaining the top analysts and sales teams to provide our clients with the best research on the street drives our culture - to be successful, everyone's job is important, and everyone can contribute. Really, that is easy to get behind. From my perspective, within groups and across teams, people are collaborative, committed and eager to share. And they in fact do care about each other as colleagues and individuals. This is the sign of a healthy firm culture, where management appreciates that the most important assets of the company are the talented people who have joined the team.

Cons

I do not have any cons to share.
