Pros
R&D folks, peers and below, are some of the best people I have ever worked with!! Good salary, benefits and very challenging rewarding work. Very good teamwork.
Cons
Unreasonable work load; very little if any work life balance. You have a lot of responsibility but no authority. Mid level managers are unable to manage their people their way as upper management micro manages. People treated more as a liability rather than as an asset.
