      Pros

      Some great people work for the company.

      Cons

      Red tape, red tape, red tape - the bureaucracy has evolved into a monster preventing any flexibility in career advancement, education, or adjustment to business practice (even if that adjustment would bring new customers and cut costs). EVERYTHING is over-promise and under-deliver, from bonuses to career advancement. Management has a culture of lying to employees and clients about everything. Very few experienced people in the company due to high turnover - no one knows what's going on.

      Pros

      Close to home. Best job offer I had at the time. Had the right time schedule that fit my home life. Was exposed to new technology.

      Cons

      Management too demeaning. Had a supervisor talk down to me like I was a child. Plenty of other companies with better career opportunities.

      Senior management doesn’t have the experience or the sense to run a real business.

      Cons

      The pay does not match the level of work that is asked of you. There's a lack of creative freedom, very little room for advancement, and atrociously bad management. Departments are chronically understaffed due to layoffs and the culture is highly bureaucratic and very political. Cree cares more about appearance than actual work so hard workers tend to be the last to be rewarded. Consider this place a stepping stone to the next job. Also expect your workload to increase each time someone leaves until they fill that position.
