      It’s the semiconductor industry

      Pros

      SiC is restarting an interest in the semiconductor industry with hobbyists- remember the days of silicon when an engineer could build a better product in their garage (Apple?). The decline in interest in the industry is turning around because of this. Do you want to build a better EV inverter or power supply - you can! Wolfspeed at forefront of SiC technology with their products.

      Cons

      Wolfspeed is moving rapidly on several fronts with new investments. Keeping all this moving forward is a challenge and you need to understand the overall picture and how you're role fits in to get productive - not always easily defined nor communicated. You'll need to be able to function with ambiguity to insure you're working on the right things at the right time. Semiconductor industry is tough, having worked at several companies. It will sort out those looking for an easy career pretty quickly. You will have the opportunity to learn a lot very quickly and as well the ability to prove yourself.
