Pros

The people and the culture at wonder are unmatched! great benefits, flexible PTO and a wonderful opportunity for growth

Cons

this is a start-up company and while many people would think of this as a CON, if you are not willing to put in the time and effort and be a part of a company's growth - this company is not for you!

Good Experience

Pros

I was a part time worker and got a job there last summer. The company was a startup but was growing rapidly. When I worked there the benefits were great, pay was above average per hour, and food was offered for lunch everyday (which I do hear is not happening anymore). I got a great training experience, as the overall company was quite thorough in their hiring and daily to day processes.

Cons

Business model structure meant your hours were always in the evening. Can't remember exactly but weekdays was like 3pm till 9-10, weekends oftentimes was 3pm till 11.

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide feedback. We're happy to hear you had a positive experience working as a Chef on the Road! We know the hours can be late, but we're excited to share that a new, part-time, 4 hour shift was recently added to the COR role!

I wanted to like this company so much

Pros

I have liked the company culture until - literally - yesterday.

Cons

The new recent development I'm describing below profoundly and permanently shifted my perception of the company. I'm a knowledge worker like many others in the company. The duties of my job could be performed fully remotely. Nevertheless, all employees, regardless of the nature of their work, were suddenly being asked to show up five days per week in person in the office, which I consider a significant step back from the initial laid back guideline of three days out of five. Showing up three days per week is suddenly deemed to be unacceptable. A hard earned collective perk achieved during the last years of pandemic is suddenly gone. Of course for the first time since I joined I'm having second thoughts.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. We recognize the past 2 years have been a challenge. As we start to normalize our professional lives, we want to get back offering our employees the best parts of being in a start-up. Our working culture is in person. Being together in person brings a sense of unity, purpose, collaboration, team building, and general “energy” that’s impossible to replicate in a virtual environment. Please feel free to submit any additional concerns to Wonder's HR Business Partner, Melanie Charles at Melanie@wonder.com.
