Pros

No pros that I can think of.

Cons

They will string you along every year with promises of more comp and opportunities, but all you'll get is more work. If you advocate for yourself, management treats you like you're being a difficult inconvenience. Worst place I've ever worked in my career.

Talent is leaving and fast

Pros

Work life balance, PTO is good. 20 days PTO plus 10 sick days.

Cons

They have been bought by private equity, and middle managers as well as product managers tend to suffocate developers in endless processes and meetings with no value added whatsoever. IT is an absolute mess, and will take months to resolve even the simplest tickets. Underpaid compared to industry average. Limited room for growth. A "high performer" will get a 2% raise, promotion process is a nightmare.

A Sinking Ship

Pros

Some of my lower-level co-workers are kind, passionate people who try every day to bring their best to the company and its customers

Cons

This use to be such a wonderful company. Unfortunately there were several mergers and ultimately the resultant company was recently sold to a PE firm (public knowledge). The result of all of this is a haphazard mess with no direction or soul. Nearly all of the best people fled for greener pastures during the many mergers or chose to take severance with the recent sale. Those left are miserable and just punching in for a paycheck. All of the magical unifying culture is gone and all that is left is desperation and frustration. Upper management makes hollow statements about a new era but the only changes they implement just make things worse. Pay is low compared to competitors and that gulf is expected to widen with the new PE ownership. Employees have been threatened against sharing salary information with each other which is truly bizarre.
