Pros

Form close tight knit friendship with a few people. They support you when things are ugly.

Cons

There is no culture cuz the leaders are old school. No support no care. Mind their own business and MIA if you need support. You are useless when things don’t go the way the big bosses want. Peanut remuneration but high expectation. It is old school so some senior managers can act unprofessional but nobody dares to tell them off. Not a good environment for younger folks cuz they will not respect us. Cheap in investing in people’s career growth, progression, wellbeing and office environment. Salary will always be below market if you’re not those big boss level.

Pros

Some talented coworkers Exposure to decent client projects

Cons

Very vertical, hierarchical culture — you need permission for almost everything, which slows down work and discourages initiative Management is poor at communication and decision-making Leadership focuses on hierarchy rather than supporting employees Bonuses are frequently delayed or uncertain, which makes planning difficult and hurts trust Lack of empowerment and transparency leads to frustration and low morale

Pros

Good people, though many are leaving

Cons

The culture in Australia business has gone downhill significantly in recent years. No focus on people, culture or recognition, with management more interested in attacking each other than trying to make things better. You are seen as a number, not a person.
