Pros

Decent benefits. Offer reimbursement for ARE Exams. Mostly remote work. Can collaborate with different disciplines directly in the company. HR is transparent

Cons

Growing at an exponential rate, through acquisition. Focus mainly on work that is most profitable, not much freedom for design

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We’re glad to hear that you’ve had positive experiences with our benefits, remote flexibility, cross‑disciplinary collaboration, and HR transparency. Those are areas we continue to invest in as we grow. We also appreciate your feedback regarding our pace of expansion and the balance between profitability and design freedom. Growth through acquisition can create challenges, and we’re working to ensure that our teams feel supported, empowered, and able to do meaningful, creative work as we scale. Your insights help us improve, and we’re grateful you took the time to share them.

Pros

Great peer to peer relationships

Cons

Dysfunctional management, no clear career growth. Left this company own my own terms last year due to toxic leadership and will never return. Consistently worked 50-60 hour weeks with consistent travel. Additionally, it looks like someone (assuming they are from HR) has put in fake 5 star reviews - pretty easy to spot. Woolpert. Do better.

Pros

Great culture, global footprint, technology-focused AEG firm that cares about the employees. Geospatial is at the core of the business, but there is also a big focus on engineering and architecture design. From designing airport and cruise terminals to data centers, creating digital twins of countries to precision monitoring, BIM to bathymetry; Woolpert brings unique capabilities to our clients and provides numerous opportunities to staff. This is the only PE backed firm that I am aware of that enables company ownership through the Principal program for employees at any stage in their career.

Cons

Bonus structure is tailored towards giving all employees an opportunity to receive a bonus based on their performance and the company's performance. Which is a good thing; but only when the bonus pool is large enough to support it.
