Pros

Great Benefits (401k offerings, Health/Dental/Vision, Pd. Emp. Life Ins., Long/ Short Term disability, etc.) Forward Thinking and Innovative Employees are given the equipment necessary efficiently of their skills Employees are provided training and encouraged to seek training Each Office has it's own personality and is very much family Very Focused on GPTW rating which has increased company-wide initiatives and benefits (including wellness compensation, great rates on pet ins. etc.) Family culture in regional offices.

Cons

There is a disconnect between Management and Technical Staff (includes top tier management). Very Focused on GPTW rating on the surface but has lost sight of what made it a GPTW.

Thank you for the thought and feedback you put into this review. For some clarification and transparency on our freedom to work policy, we designed this benefit to meet employee needs for flexibility (especially in response to Covid-19 when some were caring for children and family members.) Our aim is always to ensure that people have the tools and freedom to work when and where they want while remaining focused on goals. We trust our employees and managers to make the right decisions to get the job done. However, we appreciate hearing valuable feedback like this so we can continue to ensure our policies serve their intended purpose and empower employees. We will continue to grow and aim high just as we have for the past century, but we will also continue to focus on what makes us great: our employees.

Good Place to Work

Pros

Expanding fleet with multiple airframe types. Good way to start a career and move up. Low time pilots expect to start off as FOs on turbines for a couple of seasons then move to PIC in piston twins (C404). Good group of people to be around and interesting work. Flexible schedule.

Cons

Flexible schedule. There are low periods in the year (usually winter) where the projects are slow really busy Spring-Summer. because of the nature of the job, it can be hard at times to feel you're part of the team/company. Communication is improving to get everyone involved and well connected. It's still a pretty good place to work
