it is pretty chill in terms of grading, hours, etc. and the hours you work are pretty flexible outside of 1 or 2 per week that you have conferences

Cons

It takes some degree of skill to effectively teach math of this level, even only twice a week, so the pay seems a bit low even as a student employee

Pros

It is a simple job and the other employees are pleasant to work with. The management is understanding and always ready to help when questions arise. As federal work study, it is a relief to have a job on campus with short hours of work every week.

Cons

The weekly meetings are not always the most exciting, but it is a good chance to learn more about the coworkers and the procedures that go on in the stockroom and in Chemistry and Biochemistry in general.

nice lab, nice people, nice location. Feel great to work with nice people. The cost in the area is low.

Cons

No money left to frame second degree Only small percentage of PhDs actually go on to be featured in History Channel specials Could be a lot of work Will have to say thesis topic out loud Impossible to truly relive glory days of co-ed madrigal singers Could lead to career in academia
