Pros

Great engineering and research environment. Nice campus. UMass Medical School near - many projects are available. Great if you like to teach too.

Cons

Regardless how much you try, or like teaching, you will never become a tenure track teaching faculty. You are treated like a lower life form (compared to teaching faculty)

Pros

Flexible scheduling for students schedules, fairly good pay, provides everything from front desk and dining hall jobs to research assistant positions. Something for everyone.

Cons

Can be difficult to find work without work study, very limited hours for part-time workers. Otherwise no real cons, at least for students at the school.
