not-so-pleasant experience at WPI

Pros

a nice and quiet engineering school (as long as things go ok and you do not run into any problems). Benefits were ok.

Cons

Not supportive of their staff: I ran into problems and had bad experience with the HR, overall I was not happy with the HR and how the problem was handled. Pay was low and the campus was way too quiet for my taste. Overall I did not have a good social experience on campus.

Great staff and easy to interact with everyone

Cons

Some of the teachers care much more about research than their students. The responsibility then falls upon the teaching assistant to help out the students.
