Pros

1. Love the motion team!!! The culture, the vibe, and the sense of independence created a safe space where I could be myself. I like how we supported each other grow, asked for feedbacks, shared resources, and connected through weekly chats. 2. The projects were rewarding and diverse, with great clients and challenges. The work was fun, challenging, could be tedious at times but it all helped to my growth. Joining from branding without prior product experience, I’ve learned so much in just six months, especially through opportunities like working on multiple tracks for Google. I also appreciated being asked what I would like to improve on and being placed in a project accordingly. 3. The benefits and health insurance were good. I also like the transparency around visa sponsorship. Also like the encouragement to take PTO with a smooth and supportive approval process.

Cons

1. It might be the nature of an agency, where teams are often tasked with very specific briefs. For example to solve a specific problem or build a function within a product. I sometimes felt there was a lack of ownership or strategic impact, which played a role in my decision to leave. I wished I could have been more involved in shaping how it fit into the larger product experience. 2. I don’t know 90 percent of the people here give that I only been here for 6 months. But I wonder if there might be ways to have more cross team collaboration or internal team switch opportunities. Because once assigned to a project, it can be a long time before they’re able to work on new projects.
