Pros

remote work, easy data entry type of “reviews”

Cons

Bullying, gossip, supervisor retaliation against employees, no support, lies in interviews to get you on board, no support from HR after complaints of bullying, work is easy but company makes it hard with no structure or organization, no clear indication on expectations or standards. Unethical, you take an oath to do good but with the passes they give on reviewing employees and setting recommended medical guidelines higher to proportions out of range to enable a pass through. why have nurses at all, your signing off on documentation that knowingly as a clinician is not in the best interest of the reviewee. No communication and no real job process when training. Discrimination, gossip, and if the supervisor doesn’t like you she will retaliate against you to oust you, no real effort in employee success because they set you up for failure. High turn over rate very high, they cant keep nurses and the nurses they have have been there for years they’ve forgotten there are other nurses out there with different experiences. don’t expect to actually use your nursing knowledge here. Id say if you were a first year graduate then you can learn a little about occupational health during the orientation lol and add something easy to your resume. For nurses who want career growth and doing work that you feel good about as opposed to how many employees you can pass day in and day out just filling in the blanks like a robot then this place is not it. They need major restructuring and HR is a joke here if they are out for you just quit because no one’s going to do anything to help you here lol.

Thank you for your feedback. It's unfortunate to hear this was your experience at WorkCare. Although WorkCare has undergone huge growth both internally and with acquisitions in recent years, we have continued to improve communications and enhance our Leadership Training programs to help new and experienced managers in their roles. We also support and value our clinical staff and have dedicated resources in place for RN/LPN training and mentoring. We also make sure that everyone is being treated fairly by communicating, training and implementing more uniform policies and processes. Again, we appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to improve our company.

Pros

AMAZING work life balance!! Very guided triage structure Work from home 100% remote Always supervisors are available to answer any question on what you should or should not do in a given situation Better pay than the hospital in my red state Mandatory overtime if your call goes past your shift end time, even if over an hour or more

Cons

You’ll get tired of looking at a screen 8-9 hours 5 days a week Rotating weekends The charting system is horrible and is more like a Word document inside a charting system where you’re able to edit templates but not supposed to touch them in any way, don’t accidentally delete anything an hour into your call or you’re screwed

Pros

Being remote, friendly co workers and management.

Cons

Software and electronics can be glitchy. Would be nice to have more connection opportunities with co workers.

Thank you for your feedback. We are so glad to hear about your positive experiences at WorkCare. It's unfortunate to hear that you are missing connection opportunities with your coworkers. We have made improvements to our company-wide communication tools such as a company intranet site highlighting company news and employee recognition, a monthly HR newsletter and virtual HR update meetings to keep everyone informed and connected. If you have any suggestions on how we can continue improving our communication and team interactions, please share them with the HR team. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to continue to improve our company.
