Collaborative environment with supportive teammates. Opportunities to learn new technologies and grow technically. Stable development processes and mature SDLC practices. Strong emphasis on testing, code reviews, and software quality. Flexible work arrangements (depending on team).

Large organization means decision-making can be slow. Significant amount of process and bureaucracy before changes reach production. Cross-team dependencies can slow delivery. Peers/ co-workers, flexibility, genuine nice co-workers

Cons

Lack of integrity and honesty. Sr, Director visited SLC two months ago and held 1:1 meetings to find out what she can do better and tell her something she did know. It was all smoke and mirrors and a waste of travel budget as they laid us all off. Workday get your crap together. You let go of some amazing, knowledgeable individuals that could’ve been moved to other orgs/locations but instead you decided to hand them their walking papers.
