Pros

Everything! This is a startup environment, management listens to ideas you have, you have an amazing hr team that fights to make sure benefits are competitive! Work life balance is a thing here! You are encouraged to enjoy your time away from work! Culture is incredible! Workplace is always stocking the fridges with drinks and snacks, we have company parties/events pretty frequently. Everyone here is open to have a conversation and is so welcoming!

Cons

The only cons would be this is a startup don't expect things you would from a well established company! We are still super scrappy and do our best

Pros

Career growth opportunities - we are growing fast, promoting a lot internally, and in need of people who can step in and help build Culture - Workstream is a friendly and fun place to be! We have worked hard to hire people that are not only skilled and hardworking, but people who will be team players and enjoyable to work with every day. When necessary, we have made difficult and important decisions to choose culture over short-term revenue, because we know that keeping a strong team environment will make a larger impact in the strength of the company in the long run. Leadership - the leaders here truly care about the individual well-being. The leaders (especially the executives) are humble and interested in learning from their employees. I am based in our Utah office, and the CEO, CTO, and CPO are based in the San Francisco area, and when they come to the office to visit, everyone in the office is excited! We don't worry about them criticizing or judging us. Instead, they build us up and energize us. They are all incredibly hard workers, and it's inspiring to work alongside them. We are winning - It's really fun to be in such a fast-growing, successful startup. The energy here is high and it's motivating to get up and come to work every day.

Cons

We are working on transitioning from a super scrappy, young startup, to being a more organized, scalable organization. With that come some growing pains, and these are the ones that stand out most to me: Organization - we have started becoming more organized in our onboarding, training, process, and other areas in our work, but we have a long way to go. Sometimes it's hard to know what resources we have available to us, what to do in certain situations, or who to go to for help with certain needs. Understanding roles - because we have been growing so fast, people have to fill multiple roles, and with that comes accidentally stepping on others' toes, or realizing that nobody is doing something that needs to be done. One thing that makes this better is that the culture here makes interactions about this a lot more positive. People don't mind having their toes stepped on as long as everyone is trying to get the job done, and people are willing to step in and fill needs. Frequent changes - Our growth has made it necessary to put processes in place that weren't there before, but it can be hard to keep track of the newest decision that has been made and the current process that is supposed to be followed for certain things. Being nimble and working through ambiguity is important here.

Pros

I've loved my time at Workstream! The CEO is probably one of the most incredible leaders that I've worked with! He is in the trenches with us every day! Sourcing for top talent, closing deals, always making an effort to spend time with us and help the team wherever he can. I've been with a handful of the great companies here in Silicon Slopes and nothing compares to the incredible culture here. People are humble and hungry and I love it! I plan to call Workstream home as long as I can. People that put in the work get rewarded, a lot of driven, incredibly talented people and leaders make this place very special IMO.

Cons

It's a series B, so they don't have a lot of the fancy perks that come with a lot of the tech companies, i.e: A lot of swag, catered meals, gym reimbursement. I feel that as the company scales, it will continue to invest in these areas.
