Pros

Technology is ok. Good IT support.

Cons

Terrible/Low Pay Structure - have to wait until the end of each year to see if you'll get any increase in salary, instead of simply paying the agents a commission "per policy written," like every other Agency does. Insurance Agents get into the Insurance Industry to be paid a commission, "per policy sold," not to receive a "resettable salary." Might be good for newbies to the industry, but definitely not for experienced agents. Terribly expensive health insurance.

Pros

Benefits & PTO, there is nothing else

Cons

World insurance is a classic example of too big too fast. They simply don't have the processes or organizational structure to manage their workforce and give a good product to their policyholders. The elongated processes/work flows they created makes working with World as an employee or policy holder, cumbersome. To put it simply, there are no agency standards. It's the wild west.....a true toxic work environment. If you have seen the movie "Bad Teacher", imagine an organization run by Squirrel's!!! I could not be more serious. Its startling. This is who you deal with when you are getting support, which is not a common occurrence. STAY AWAY!!
