Do not value non-sales staff

Pros

They honored my prior PTO when we were acquired.

Cons

They have focused solely on acquisitions and producers for the past several years while forgetting about those that make things happen behind the scenes. The transition after we were acquired was VERY rough. The health insurance is awful, and there is very little incentive to put more effort forward than is absolutely necessary. Work and responsibility continues to be added to already excessive workloads and there is no relief in sight. Raises aren’t even cost of living.

Pros

Not many. Some genuinely kind people at the local level

Cons

Work/life balance is non-existent. Long hours and heavy workloads are the norm. Many employees are working 10–14 hours a day, six days a week, with little support or relief. Burnout is widespread—even among management. Managers are clearly overworked and stretched thin, yet expected to keep up with constant corporate demands. It's not uncommon to see capable, well-meaning leaders struggle to keep up. If you’re considering selling your agency to World, think twice. If you’ve just joined through an acquisition, keep your options open.

Pros

Great stepping stone for young professionals

Cons

Under capacity at almost every office, managers at the divisional level were chosen as a “body” rather than a “qualified candidate” when selected. Growing so fast they cannot keep with in the accounting or account management departments
