Pros

World vision is an international NGO with amazing people. The work is fun as a communicator I had to write stories about Syrian refugee households, continuously update the proposals for donors and communications strategy, also took care of all visibility items for donor compliance.

Cons

World vision is a little bit disorganized, however the pros definitely outweigh the cons here!

Has one of the best compensation rates in the INGO industry. Well defined policies and systems. Good credibility and reputation, good working relationship with local stakeholders

Cons

Short term contracts for fixed term employees. Programs and budgets tend to be too dependent on child sponsorship funding stream
