Pros

Working with world vision will give u the opportunity of having passion for children, they have good facilities like medical, child care, free lunch, good salary etc. promotion is at your disposal as long as you are had working. You will always acquire new knowledge and skills working with world vision as they are always improving on their system and organizing training sessions.

Cons

Their works are challenging in the sense that you are always in the rural areas working with the poor and oppress. But it was good for me because so many skills were acquired.

Pros

There is opportunity to really build experience if you can start from the bottom and work up. This is partially dependent on circumstance and direct supervisors, but the organization is huge and the opportunities are ample. People here have big hearts and many are willing to work for very little because of the impact they have on children in need.

Cons

It's difficult to move to different departments and different areas of the organizational structure. Work ethic is distinguishable based on exempt and non-exempt employees. DCS itself is provided knowledge of the organization on a need-to-know basis and the disconnect from WVUS is felt. Work hours can be difficult depending on your department.
