      Pros

      Great teams to work with. One can easily get support, and the explanations of the strategic direction is great. Efforts are made to ensure all folks at different levels can articulate the strategic direction

      Cons

      Terrible pay when you think about the work done. There is no transparency when it comes to pay. One can be denied a salary in a given grade saying it does not fit, and another employee in the same grade does earn more than what another was denied. I have witnessed this first hand

      strong, unifying vision and mission lots of great, highly motivated people very inspiring work at grassroots, making a real difference in many lives lots of opportunities for growth and development

      rapidly shifting organizational focus, with often weak change management and follow-through growing tensions between executive level corporatization and transformational development ethos lack of career guidance for international expat staff

      Exposure; diversity-both professionally and culturally, free access to various professionals, and the willingness to support one another

      Cons

      Hinderance to access some fora as they seem a preservation of the global leaders. This can limit the exposure to inhouse practices
