Pros

Great solution & services suite. Company on solid financial ground.

Cons

WWT isn't quite sure what they want to be when they grow up. They've gone from a CISCO reseller to a wannabe solutions integrator. While this is ambitious and viable, they're not quite sure how to lead this effort. They've got quite a few squeaky clean, polished "leaders" who've all seemingly known each other for a long time. The Fed team isn't ready to execute intelligent teaming agreements or to write to multiple RFP responses at once. For a company who preaches culture, diversity, fair opportunity, they've still got a lot of growing up to do.

Pros

Cost of Health Benefits 401K Match Amount is great but only paid once a year

Cons

Think of it as a 16BN “family and friends” run company and the good ole boys club. Diversity may be great in the corporate org but the field sales teams are built in a pyramid scheme run by tenured friends of friends. New team members from the outside remain on an island while the good old boys travel together around the world while others have travel requests denied. I’ve seen other managers start a family business and never be available to their team while we continue to hear the no bad manager mantra.

Pros

-Health Insurance is pretty decent at a good price -Supervisors/Managers do not micromanage -Okay with communication to us, though could be better with less empty promises of improvement

Cons

-30% or so of the most senior Project Engineers have left this department for better opportunities in the past 12 months. Without dedicated training or refilling those positions our foundation has crumbled. -Payband information is abysmal and hidden from the employee, even though they have numerous times said they are freely available(This seems to be department and org chart dependent). The HR cases saying they "hope" to have these available this year and constant Career framework alterations points to they just don't know what to do with the Project Engineering department. -Raises seem to have no rhyme or reason. We are told it is based on criticality, time in position, and performance. Supervisors/Managers have told us they are not a part of those discussions, so who makes these decisions? It seems to be "have your department all within 90% of the median" but if no one knows the median how is this determined? -Poor Lab network infrastructure and automation capabilities with almost no maintenance or personnel dedicated to its support. The solution has been to allow it to limp along since if we make enough diving catches the e-suite does not see the benefit to cost. Our largest customers are now seeing impacts from these issues, they will only continue to get worse.
