Pros

World Wide Technology not only has the best culture but offers tremendous opportunity to everyone. The humility of our executive leadership is a key driver to our success. It is hard to have a conversation with anyone in our executive management that you don't walk away feeling better about yourself. They are very positive at all times and really focus on their employees development. So many companies focus on the bottom line and blindly make decisions based upon current results. While the bottom line is important, World Wide Technology makes decisions based upon future growth. They plan for the off years and do whats right to make sure we, as contributors, are empowered to succeed. It is very refreshing to work for a great management team. Leaders who want to work with all levels to ensure success.

Cons

Five years ago, I might have been able to provide a few. However, these have all been addressed because management listens!

Thank you very, very much! Great feedback about the Integrated Management and Leadership sessions. These are very important for our culture and for developing our current and future leaders. It's great to have all our executives driving this initiative. Thanks again!

Dispersed workforce means it might be a while before you put names to faces. Interview process is lengthy, but for good reason

Pros

-Good work life balance. You'll be expected to put in honest work and do a good job, but working late and on weekends wasn't common. -Average health benefits

Cons

-Pay isn't very competitive -Nepotism nepotism nepotism. Hiring decision are based on who you grew up with, not your qualifications. -There aren't great career advancement paths. It was easier to leave the company to advance my career. -Middle Management isn't well trained on employee development -Large internal push to get on Fortune and Glassdoor Best Places to Work. I don't feel that their rankings accurately reflect what it's like to work there.

Thanks for the feedback and I'm sorry you left. I may be biased but I think our health benefits are among the best that any employers offer. We do hire a large number of employee referrals but this only helps someone get hired, it doesn't keep them hired. Everyone must perform to be successful. We are very honored to receive acknowledgment on being a great place to work and we do celebrate this. It's our employees who make this possible. Thanks again and good luck.
