Pros

Company has good stated values concerning diversity and inclusion, and will gladly tell you how much they appreciate you. You mostly will not get hounded and micromanaged (but you still will depending on your lead/sup). They tell you that a lot. They love to say it. To say it.

Cons

The compensation is not adequate, and today the top executive confirmed that it won't be changing. 40hrs/week will not be changing, and we were condescendingly told to manage our time better. They gaslight us about people quitting and the constant calls for pay evaluation. They won't see reality, and they'll tell you that you don't see it either. This company has no place in my future.

Thank you. While WWT does not want to lose any good employees to another organization, we recognize that everyone should pursue a career/ organization which will ultimately make them happy. We hope you will inquire as to growth opportunities with WWT before considering another opportunity elsewhere. Thanks again.

Pros

Good benefits. No other pros.

Cons

I've worked for the company for 6 years now. I work in their head facility and it's done nothing but go down hill in that time. Leadership gets worse every year, no opportunity to move, pay is well below average rate. They preach about how important their people and culture are but they don't follow their own tenets. Our team is over worked but since we don't collectively hit 60 hours/week we can't hire another engineer. All the while they want to enforce a "balanced work/home life". If you have 20 years of experience and can start at the top, I'm sure life would be great, but for the other 60% of people in the company, this isn't a great place to work. I wouldn't even call it a good place to work.

Thanks. The NAIC (North America Integration Center) is very busy right now. There has been a large increase in business and we are rapidly working to get up to appropriate staffing levels to accommodate it. Work-life balance is a priority but I agree, the number of hours employees are currently working isn’t ideal. Thank you for all you’re doing (and everyone at the NAIC is doing) to go above and beyond what is typically asked of you.

WWT NYC Region terrible place to work

Pros

Corporate management in St Louis is solid and really follow their core values

Cons

There is a complete disconnect between the solid, Midwestern core values followed in the St Louis corporate headquarters (and the mature regions of WWT) and the newer NYC region. Middle management in the NYC Region does not follow the core values at all. Sure, it’s important to make money, that’s why companies exist – but WWT is a company that prided itself on its core values (Trust, Humility, Enthusiasm, Passion, Attitude, Team work and Honesty). I found the NYC region’s middle management lacking in just about every one of these values. They are, to put simply, an untrustworthy group who are about as dishonest and trustworthy as Gordon Gecko in the movie Wall Street.
