Looks like dedication and hard work does NOT count. They will tell you” you do not have the experience for …. “ but what they do, they get all there good friends with Zero experience in Lead posiotions .       Pros

      -Get to work on a variety of projects. -Work hours are pretty flexible.

      Cons

      -Nepotism exists. -Some project managers are just junior engineers that obtained their PMP designation, but don't have the experience or skill of the more senior engineers that they are leading. -There are no annual bonuses. -Like any consutling company, it is subjected to boom-and-bust cycles of the Alberta Economy. Staffing ramps up usually only after 6-9 months of high enough oil prices that enable the shelved projects to restart again.
