Pros
It's big, and it offers opportunities to people who know how to navigate through it. Because it's made up of lots of acquired companies, there's great variety in the cultures of the various workplaces, and some are more vibrant and dynamic than others.
Cons
For all its happy talk of retaining a "small company" culture, it often feels "big" — not in a good way. Bigness has benefits, but only when size leads to efficiencies of scale that more than compensate for loss of agility. Elephants can learn to dance, but teaching this one is proving difficult.
