      Pros

      The schedules can be flexible and management is understanding of your work hours and time off. Offer 4 weeks of vacation after 1 year.

      Cons

      Very difficult to get a raise and/or promotion. You may be meeting all the requirements, and have good performance reviews and still not get a promotion.

      Pros

      No micromanagement in my field. I am free to manage my site the way I see fit, and I am given the ability to use my best judgement on how to maintain, organize, and approach day-to-day operations in my building. I was able to move upwards from an associate role into a leadership role within 3 years.

      Cons

      Once settled into a position in overhead, it is very difficult to move upwards further. Middle management tends to lack a full understanding of each building and do not seem to promote uniformity or efficiency. At times, it seems that the pieces are moving too far apart from one another to function at full potential.
