Pros

Good products and really nice colleagues

Cons

Management use bullying tactics to push sales which is a huge effect on mental health which they then use to joke about!

Pros

I enjoyed the people i worked with and made some great friends.

Cons

Honestly where do i start.. Firstly the reviews on here are fake and made to look like it’s a great place to work. Don’t even waste your time applying here and i’ll explain why. A lot of us just got let go without warning from the directors due to ‘protection of the company’ a company that make billions a year. Every showroom has their favourite designers so if you’re new, you do not stand a chance. Management have complete control over lead allocation, you will book a customer in for a design appointment and management will take it straight off ya and give it to the top. The showrooms are FULL of gossip, people will talk about you behind your back, management will bully you, the top designers that have been their years WILL steal your appointments and WILL stab you in the back to do anything they can to put a sale through. Targets are ridiculous, you will work every weekend and have a team brief on the weekend where the managers will just belittle you and tell you you’re not good enough and you need to sell more, you need to book more appointments, you are never good enough. The turnover is so high due to directors constantly sacking designers and designers just leaving due to how bad it is to work here. You will go home constantly worrying if you’re going to have a job tomorrow if you don’t sell soon. Managers will go to meetings every month with the directors where they can see everything you’re doing. The directors have sacked a lot of designers at these meetings due to very little mistakes ‘get rid of them’ they say and then you’re out. Honestly you will go home with worry, constantly thinking about work, targets.. & everyday you will be wondering if you will still have your job tomorrow if you don’t sell soon just a terrible terrible place to work, it is not worth it and if i can stop someone from going through the struggle i went though by working here i will.. do not work for a company and give them £500-£800K a year from all your hard work and it really is hard work even trying to get to that much in a year, for them to treat you like rubbish constantly.

Pros

Manager was great and some co workers.

Cons

Under paid and over worked .. no family values. Working through Christmas and new year .. it’s all about the sales team. Other members of staff don’t seem to count. Maintenance issues are never sorted. Your paid to leave a good review to say it’s the uk number 1 employer.. Shocking!! To many designers not enough leads and staff pinching other people’s leads to earn some money. Then the conflict happens.
