Pros

Training - Indepth comprehensive training from Day 1 and continued learning through-out. Great support from the training dept. Progression - Starting in the business as an Assistant Manager, I have been promoted to General Manager, I was also foolish enough to leave the business to go to another company in the KBB industry. I was humbled to be welcomed back into the business as an Assistant Manager, where I've since been promoted again to General Manager. Networking - The opportunity to network and collaborate with different departments and other managers is great. Sometimes through monthly meetings or through trial initiatives. Pace - Wren is incredibly fast paced, there's certainly no time to twiddle thumbs. There's always something to do and that's one of the reasons I came back. Pay is also a pro, why else do we come to work. I think Wren is a fantastic business to work for, I wouldn't have come back otherwise.

Cons

As with all jobs there are cons. Wren has put some great things in place to reward Designers recently. There has been things in place for managers previously. But there isn't retention project for managers. Even something like PerkBox would be nice. Any other "con" is subject to the individual. I've previously had weekends off in another job, honestly doing my shopping on Sat or Sun was hell. Weekends are by far the best days to work in retail.

Pros

I started at Wren Kitchens as a designer and have worked my way up to Assistant Manager and now General Manager of my own store. The progression and opportunities to grow are real if you’re willing to work hard, stay open to feedback, and push yourself. I’ve been really lucky with the people who’ve supported me along the way. My trainer Ryan, the Sales Director Toff, and Area mentors all saw potential in me early on and genuinely backed my development, which made a huge difference to my confidence and career. Wren is a fast paced, passionate company with high standards. It constantly challenges you to be the best version of yourself, both professionally and personally. I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given and proud to have found a long term career here.

Cons

There are no cons if you are a driven individual
