Pros

Not much towards end of my time.. Started 2015. Better pay structure/ commission/ incentives etc back then.

Cons

Company is built on favouritism, guilt tripping into doing more hours to close sales, no refund protection for designers even after investing hours with customers. Free issue can takeaway all your commission. So much limitations on when you can take time off Do not pay maternity leave. 7 years there and nothing - one of the reasons I left. Felt like they didn’t care.

Pros

The IT aspect is extremely well-executed, and the available tools at your disposal are truly remarkable. The team and showroom management,

Cons

Regrettably, this is the most challenging company I've ever been employed by. The disconnection between the retail and head office is unparalleled in its severity. Head office exhibits an excessively authoritarian approach toward retail, and the treatment of employees within this company is deeply disconcerting. 1. Prior to Christmas, they consistently overhire and, by the end of January, release a significant number of new hires, leaving them with minimal time to adjust to their roles. 2. Commission structures are altered without any prior notification if an employee fails to meet the performance metrics. 3. Despite offering a comprehensive academy that imparts knowledge about the products, there is a conspicuous absence of training on sales techniques, even though sales performance is the primary basis for evaluation. 4. The company's aftercare for customers is subpar, and assisting your own customers with post-purchase issues is an incredibly challenging, if not nearly impossible, task. 5. The company promotes a refundable deposit policy, but it punishes employees for high cancellation rates. 6. During my interview process, there were no disclosure about mandatory red zone times, during which employees are prohibited from taking holidays, even on significant dates like Boxing Day, bank holidays, and half-terms, which considerably hampers one's social life. 7. The company levies charges for individual errors, which is understandable, but it also imposes charges for tasks for which employees have not received adequate training and holds them responsible for other people's mistakes, necessitating an appeals process. 8. There is an alarming lack of effective communication between the head office and retail, leading to frequent and unannounced product changes and updates. 9. Remarkably, the company rarely seeks feedback from its employees, unless it pertains to new programs, and does not seem interested in understanding areas for improvement. 10. There is absolutely no positive motivation
