Company growth engulfs any consideration for customers or staff!
Pros
You receive the week prior to Christmas off, but hours are owed after Christmas when you will be working in excess of 80 hours for the next 4 weeks! Training worth going on for new designers. You can manage your profit margin, but beware of bringing management in as they will strip it if the sale is needed for the store.
Cons
No job security, No support from management, No guidance or support if you need it. Measured on compliance , but you can't see your figures, reliant on a board being updated! Constant range changes...email about new unit sizes .....2 weeks later once these gave been planned and sold..oh we can't make these so no longer available!. Cad planner is the absolute worst I've known. Slow , sluggish, freezes and crashes. Can't dress the room and the visuals are bad compared to competitors. Have no authority to sort customers issues out, it has to go through customer services.. these guys will charge any issues to you and cost you 50% free issues, no matter whats happened. Bullying from management watching social media pages and policing staff!! Not employing 'designer's' but sales staff. As a qualified designer, it shocked me what some designers had sold!, get the feeling it isn't taken seriously ....plan checks in store by new staff who can't plan...so faults are not highlighted. Constantly recruiting so the can constantly get rid before you have been there 2 years! Coincidence there are about 40 'very positive' comments these last 2 weeks, guessing a memo went out to staff to comment!... Speak up and your days are numbered, managment look after each other.
