Pros

Wurk had its challenges and frustrations in the past, but with the new leadership team and updates to our company, it has become a great place to work. Leadership has been able to get the company on the right track, our total rewards package has been updated (free healthcare options), and the People and Leadership teams have been able to listen and change with the company. It's a different and better company now than before.

Cons

While there have been improvements, it feels at times the vision is unclear or how roles are defined at the company. This comes with time, but it does create challenges across teams. With that said, I think we're on the right track.

Pros

Wurk is honestly one of the best companies that I've worked for, but I know that it hasn't always been that way. You can tell from the reviews, but the people who started with Wurk several years ago have a completely different perspective than the people who started in 2021. The company has an almost entirely new leadership team and they are ALL doing a fantastic job at changing the culture of the company and removing the lingering toxicity. Everyone at the company truly cares about our clients and is always trying to improve to help better serve them. They are the only company I've worked for that is actively trying to give their employees a better work-life balance. Our CEO, Scott, has said many times to use your PTO, and not bother people while they are on PTO - what a refreshing change from some of my previous companies that required you to check in daily while on PTO. Some other pros: - Unlimited PTO (that we are encouraged to use!) - Company bonuses and stock options - Free health, dental, and vision insurance plans for employees - Remote work culture - more than half the company is fully remote - Internet/fitness/professional development reimbursements - Paid parental leave

Cons

With new leadership comes growing pains, and some changes are not happening fast enough for some people. No 401k match. Everyone in the company is stretched pretty thin and they need more headcount.
